The Golden State Warriors play host to the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the Oracle Arena.
The Lakers were able to avoid a fifth straight loss on Tuesday by sneaking past the shorthanded Pelicans by 95-91 at home. Louis Williams led the way with 19 points and eight assists, Jordan Clarkson had 18 points while D'Angelo Russell added 13 points as the Lakers pulled away late in the fourth quarter to win and improve to 9-31 on the season and 5-12 at home. Kobe Bryant had just seven points in 16 minutes of action as he dealt with soreness in his right Achilles.

Meanwhile, the Warriors will still be scratching their heads about what happened in their 112-110 loss at Denver last night. Stephen Curry dominated the game with 38 points and nine assists, Harrison Barnes had 18 points while Klay Thompson added 17, but it still wasn't enough to hold of the spirited Nuggets who rode their home crowd to a famous win. Defensively, the Warriors did a nice job of holding the Nuggets to 42 percent shooting from the field, but they allowed them to shoot 33 of 37 from the charity stripe. Golden State is now 36-3 on the season and 18-3 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Lakers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall, while the Warriors are 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 games playing on zero days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Lakers are 3-9 ATS in the last 12 meetings overall and 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Golden State.
I would take the Lakers with the points if the circumstances were different, but I don't want to back against a Warriors team playing at home and coming off a surprise loss.
