The Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks collide at the Philips Arena tonight.
The Nets have won just one of their last seven games and were beaten by the Trailblazers by 116-104 last night. Brook Lopez led the team with 25 points while Joe Johnson and Donald Sloan added 15 points but it was never going to enough against the Blazers who connected on 15 of 35 three-pointers. The Nets have been suffering with a second-rate backcourt and they just couldn't do much to stop Damian Lillard who finished with a game-high 33 points. With the loss, Brooklyn drops to 11-29 on the season and 7-15 at home.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have lost four of their last six and are coming off a second straight loss, falling to the Bucks by 108-101 in overtime last night. Paul Millsap led the scoring with 23 points, Al Horford added 18 points while Kyle Korver had 17 but while the Hawks made a clutch basket to force overtime, they just couldn't stop Giannis Antetokounmpo in overtime and it cost them. With the loss, Atlanta falls to 23-17 on the season and 10-10 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest.
Head to head, the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings.
The Hawks haven't been anywhere near the team we saw from last season, but they're long overdue for a easy win at home and I think this is just the matchup they need right now. Take Atlanta to win this one by double digits over a struggling Nets team.
