The Portland Trailblazers and the Washington Wizards do battle tonight at the Verizon Center.
The Trailblazers were looking for a fourth straight win coming into Philadelphia on Saturday, but instead were ambushed by the 76ers in a 114-89 blowout loss. Damian Lillard led the team with 14 points but shot a miserable four of 18 from the field, while CJ McCollum added 13 points as the Blazers were slow out of the gates and found themselves chasing the game with a 68-43 deficit going into the halftime break. With the surprise loss, Portland drops to 18-25 on the season and 8-16 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Wizards were riding a four-game win streak until they lost by 119-117 to the Celtics on Saturday. John Wall had a monster game of 36 points, 13 assists and seven steals while Marcin Gortat added 18 points and 11 rebounds, but it still wasn't enough to beat the Celtics who won on a layup by Jae Crowder with just three seconds left on the clock. With the loss, Washington falls back below .500 with an overall record of 19-20 on the season and 9-12 at home.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record, while the Wizards are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Blazers are 1-7 ATS in the last eight meetings in Washington and the under is 17-7 in the last 24 meetings overall.
You just know the Blazers will be eager to make up for their embarrassing loss to the Sixers in their last outing, so I'm taking them to upset the Wizards at home where they've been below average all season.
