The Los Angeles Clippers pay a visit to the Indiana Pacers tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Clippers have cooled off since their 10-game win streak with three losses in their last five games including a 112-94 beatdown at Toronto on Sunday. Chris Paul continued his fantastic season with 23 points and 11 assists, JJ Redick added 17 points and DeAndre Jordan had 15 points but it was never going to be enough against the Raptors who took control of the game in the second quarter with a 17-3 run sparked by their second unit. Once again, the Clippers failed to earn a marquee road win over an elite opponent which drops them to 28-16 on the season and 13-9 on the road. Blake Griffin has been out since Dec. 26 and is officially out for the rest of the Clippers' road trip.

Meanwhile, the Pacers have lost five of their last six games and are coming off a 108-97 loss at Sacramento despite 34 points from Paul George. Jordan Hill added 17 points while Monta Ellis had 16 points with seven assists, but the Pacers just had no answer for the Kings' DeMarcus Cousins who poured in a career-high 48 points on 17 of 29 shooting. After starting the season with such promise, the Pacers have really struggled lately and they're in danger of falling below .500 as they're record is now 23-21 on the season and 10-15 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road gaqmes and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games overall, while the Pacers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team above .600 and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Clippers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall but the road team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings.
The Clippers have fallen off the pace over the last week or so, but they've still been playing much better than the Pacers whose only two wins in their last eight games have come against the struggling Suns. In a pick 'em game, I'm sticking with the Clippers to finish on top in a close contest.
