January 29, 2016
We’ve got a great NBA lineup coming tonight; there are nine games on the schedule. In the meantime, let’s check out some of the notable players and news items out there in the league right now.
Pacers-Hawks: It’s hard telling what to expect out of the East these days. The Pacers had lost three straight games but were able to overcome the Hawks 111-92 last night in Indianapolis.
Monta Ellis put up 25 points, while rookie Myles Turner (who started) got 20 points and six rebounds. The Pacers finished this game on a 23-2 run that put the Hawks away.
Ellis was 7-of-11 from the field and 5-of-7 on 3-pointers.

Nuggets-Wizards: Emmanuel Mudiay posted 20 points and the Nuggets defense held John Wall to 5-of-17 from the floor in a 117-113 win in Washington last night.
Leading the charge was Danilo Gallinari. He nailed four of five 3-pointers and posted 26 points overall. As a team, Denver was 9-of-18 from beyond the arc.
As for Wall, he would finish with 17 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.
Knicks-Raptors: Considering the fact that they were missing three of their starters last night, the Knicks held their own against the Raptors in Toronto.
Kyle Lowry posted 26 points and 10 assists in the 103-93 win, while DeMar DeRozan helped out on 26 points of his own.
New York was missing Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Jose Calderon, but held close for most of the game. They shot just 50 percent from the line, though.
Bulls-Lakers: Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant shared the same Staples Center court for the last time in a 114-91 Bulls win last night in Los Angeles.
Jimmy Butler scored 26 and had 10 assists, while Gasol had 21 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.
As for Bryant, he logged 10 points on a rough 4-of-13 shooting night. The Lakers have now lost eight straight and sit at 9-39.
