After a busy 10-game set last night, we’ve got five more coming up this evening. In the meantime, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there in our daily wrap-up.
Cavs-Kings: LeBron James got the 40th triple-double of his career last night against the Kings in Cleveland, dropping in 21 points with 10 assists and 10 rebounds. It took him only three quarters to get there as the Cavs cruised to a 120-100 win.
Kyrie Irving matched a season-high in points with 32, and tied a career-high in assists with 12. J.R. Smith added 22 points on six 3-pointers.

Pacers-Lakers: Kobe Bryant provided some late drama last night in Indianapolis against the Pacers. He nailed three straight 3-pointers late in the game to give the Lakers a three-point lead with 2:30 left, but Paul George led Indy back with six straight points and an 89-87 win.
George would score 21 points and haul down eight rebounds overall. Bryant scored 19 but was just 6-of-25 from the field.
Thunder-Suns: Kevin Durant went nuts in the second half last night against the Suns. He scored 25 of his 32 points in the third and fourth quarters, helping OKC pull away for a 122-106 victory.
It was the Suns’ eighth consecutive loss, and they’ve lost 23 of 25 overall. They were close for most of the game here, though.
Durant had made just 5-of-15 from the field before nailing his last six shots, with four 3-pointers mixed in there.
Pelicans-Timberwolves: The Pelicans needed a win last night against the Timberwolves in Minneapolis, as they were coming in with a four-game losing streak.
They got it with a 116-102 victory, as Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday each scored 27 points. Davis added eight rebounds and Holiday had nine assists with five rebounds. Ryan Anderson had 26 points, and as a team New Orleans had just four turnovers.
