We’ve got a big 10-game schedule in the NBA tonight, so there’s plenty to keep us basketball fans occupied in the coming hours. That said, let’s check out our daily wrap-up of the key players and stats in the news.

Heat-Spurs: Early in the fourth quarter last night in Miami, the Heat got to within seven points of the Spurs. Then San Antonio decided they’d had enough and ran away with the game.
The Spurs got seven points on one possession, during which Hassan Whiteside was booted from the game for a flagrant-2. San Antonio would ultimately run away with it 119-101.
LaMarcus Aldridge had 28 points here, and Kawhi Leonard managed 23.

Wizards-Knicks: Kurt Rambis’ Knicks coaching debut was ruined last night at the Garden by a 111-108 loss to the visiting Wizards.
John Wall led the way here with 28 points and 17 assists; Bradley Beal managed 26 points of his own.
The Knicks overcame a 16-point deficit in the first quarter, but couldn’t hold on down the stretch-as usual.

Jazz-Mavs: The Utah-Dallas matchup last night was an overtime affair, with the Jazz coming out on top 121-119. It was their seventh straight win.
Gordon Hayward hit the game-winning jump shot at the OT buzzer, following Rodney Hood’s game-tying 3-pointer at the end of the fourth.
Hood logged 29 points, while Hayward put up 20. He had 13 after halftime.

Warriors-Rockets: Last night’s late primetime game featured the Warriors and Rockets in Oakland. Golden State posted a 123-110 victory here for their 42nd straight home win.
Stephen Curry logged 35 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Andrew Bogut also had a great game on 13 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and six blocks (a season-high).
The Warriors now have a 47-4 record. They’re 24-0 at Oracle Arena this year.
