The Golden State Warriors pay a visit to the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the Staples Center.
The Warriors have absolutely been on fire all season and they were aiming for a 12th straight win last night but instead they ran into an in-form Trailblazers outfit who scorched them in a 137-105 blowout loss. Stephen Curry sunk seven 3-pointers en route to 31 points, Klay Thompson added 23 points while Draymond Green had 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists but the Warriors just had no answer for the Blazers' Damian Lillard who poured in a career-high 51 points. Despite the loss, Golden State are still a league-best 48-5 on the season, but this loss provided them with a real wake up call, reminding them that they can't afford to get too comfortable.

Meanwhile, the Clippers have won eight of their last 10 games and will be full of confidence after making light work of the Spurs in a 105-86 rout on Thursday. Chris Paul led the way with a game-high 28 points and 12 assists, Jamal Crawford added 19 points off the bench while JJ Redick had 17 as the Clippers took full advantage of a Spurs team playing without key players in Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili. The Clippers remain without Blake Griffin who continues to recover from his broken hand and four-game suspension for striking the team's equipment manager.
In ATS trends, the Warriors are 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games playing on zero days rest and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games against a team above .600, while the Clippers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games following a win of more than 10 points.
Head to head, the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and the over is 15-7 in the last 22 meetings.
The Warriors looked completely out of sorts last night and they got absolutely punished but they're too good a team to lose two in a row so I'm expecting them to bounce back and escape with a narrow win against a Clippers team they've already beaten twice this season.
