The Milwaukee Bucks invade the Philips Arena to battle the Atlanta Hawks tonight.
The Bucks were able to bounce back from a five-game skid with back to back wins over the Celtics and the Wizards, but coming out of the All-Star break, the Bucks had their momentum halted thanks to a 98-95 loss to the Hornets last night. Jabari Parker led the team with 23 points and 11 rebounds, Khris Middleton added 20 points and seven assists while Giannis Antetokounmpo had 18 points and 11 rebounds but it still wasn't enough to get past the Hornets who rallied late to steal the win on a dominant 28-17 fourth quarter effort. WIth the loss, Milwaukee falls to 22-23 on the season which has them mired near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have lost three of their last four games and were disappointing in last night's 115-111 loss to shorthanded Heat who were playing without their two best players in Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Jeff Teague led the scoring with 23 points, Kyle Korver added 18 points while Dennis Schroder added 16 points and six assists in just 21 minutes off the bench but the Hawks just couldn't get the stops in the fourth quarter, especially against Luol Deng who lit up the Hawks for a season-high 30 points. With the loss, Atlanta falls to 31-25 overall which is good enough for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
In ATS trends, the Bucks are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games against a team with a winning home record, while the Hawks are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games against a team with a losing road record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games playing on zero days rest.
Head to head, the Bucks are 5-11 ATS in the last 16 meetings but the road team is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
The Bucks were building a little bit of momentum before losing to the Hornets and I think they can cause the upset tonight against a slumping Hawks team playing on the second night of a back to back set. Take the Bucks with the handful of points in what could be a closer game than it should be.
