NBA Player Updates 2/20: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
February 20, 2016
The NBA is easing up a bit tonight after a busy return from the All-Star break last night; there are just four games on tap in the coming hours. Still, there’s plenty to talk about this morning in our daily wrap-up.
Knicks-Nets: The Knicks have now lost seven in a row, thanks to a 109-98 loss to the Nets last night.
Brook Lopez scored 33 points for a season-high in that category, and had six players in double-digit scoring. Lopez shot 13-of-23 from the field and had eight rebounds. He outplayed twin brother Robin, who had 10 points and seven rebounds.
The Knicks have lost 11 of their last 12 and look to have completely destroyed any playoff hopes they had.

Hawks-Heat: Luol Deng had a great evening against the Hawks in Atlanta. He scored a season-high 30 points in what became a 115-111 victory.
Josh McRoberts scored 19 points here, which was a season-high for him.
The Heat did all this without Dwyane Wade (who was out with knee soreness) and Chris Bosh (who is out with a blood clot in his leg).
Deng had 11 boards, while McRoberts had 10 assists.
Pelicans-Sixers: The Pelicans nearly blew a 22-point lead last night against the Sixers, but were able to hold on for a 121-114 victory.
New Orleans coach Alvin Gentry was called for a questionable delay of game late in the fourth, but the team was able eke out a victory despite the call.
Anthony Davis posted 34 points here, with 18 coming in the first half. Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson posted 22 combined in the second half.
Pacers-Thunder: Monta Ellis put up 27 points in Oklahoma City last night, helping the Pacers to a 101-98 win over the Thunder.
Indiana was down by seven in the final three minutes, but mounted a late push. Paul George had 22 points and 10 assists, while Ian Mahinmi had 19 points (matching a career-high) and 11 rebounds.
Myles Turner had 16 points and six blocks (a career-high).
