The New York Knicks invade the Target Center to battle the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
The Knicks have lost 11 of their last 12 games and will be looking to avoid an eighth straight loss following last night's disappointing 109-98 loss at Brooklyn. Carmelo Anthony led the scoring with 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists, Kristaps Porzingis added 18 points while Arron Afflalo had 17 but the Knicks just had no answer for the Nets' Brook Lopez who poured in a game-high 33 points on 13 of 23 shooting. New York's season has really taken a nose dive after a promising start to the season and their overall record of 23-33 has them near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have been one of the worst teams in the league all season but have found a bit of form lately, winning three of four before last night's 109-104 loss to the Grizzlies. Zach LaVine led the scoring with 22 points, Andrew Wiggins added 20 points and Gorgui Dieng had 14 points but the Grizzlies just had all the answers in a dominant 33-23 fourth quarter and that was the difference in the end. With the loss, Minnesota falls to 17-38 on the season.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 1-5 ATS in the last six road games and 0-7 ATS in the last seven games overall, while the Wolves are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a loss and 8-22 ATS in their last 30 games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the road team is 5-2-1 ATS in the last eight meetings and the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings.
You couldn't back either team with much confidence but I have to say that the Wolves didn't look too bad in last night's loss at Memphis and I think they can beat this Knicks team at home where they've beaten the Raptors and the Bulls in recently.
