The New Orleans Pelicans pay a visit to the Washington Wizards tonight at the Verizon Center.
The Pelicans have won four of their last five games and will be gunning for a third straight win tonight after beating the Pistons by 111-106 in their last outing. Jrue Holiday had a very nice game of 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists off the bench but this night was all about Anthony Davis who dominated the game with a career-high 59 points to go along with 20 rebounds and four assists. No other Pelicans player scored more than six points as New Orleans improved to 22-33 with the win.

Meanwhile, the Wizards had won three of four and were aiming for a third straight win before losing at Miami by 114-94 in their last outing. Bradley Beal led the scoring with 19 points off the bench while Jared Dudley added 16 points but the Wizards needed more from John Wall who shot just five of 17 for his 12 points. With the loss, Washington falls to 25-29 on the season which has them 3.5 games out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 6-14 ATS in the last 20 games against the Eastern Conference, while the Wizards are 5-1 ATS in the last six games against a team with a losing record and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Washington.
It's hard to think that Davis will match the production he showed us in his last outing, but I still think the Pelicans with the points are the way to go in this game as this one should go right down to the wire like it did back on Dec 11 when the Pelicans won by 107-105.
