The Denver Nuggets invade the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
The Nuggets have lost four of their last five games and will be looking to snap a three-game skid after losing to the Kings by 114-110 at home last night. Will Barton led eight players in double figures with his 18 points while Danilo Gallinari added 17 points, but while the Nuggets played well to rally from a 15-point deficit late in the third quarter and take the lead, they just couldn't stop the Kings' DeMarcus Cousins who dominated with 39 points including a couple of clutch baskets late in the fourth quarter. With the loss, Denver falls to 22-35 on the season which has them mired near the bottom of the Western Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Clippers have won nine of their last 12 games and will be feeling pretty good after making light work of the Suns in a 124-84 blowout win on Monday. JJ Redick scored 22 points, Jeff Green added 18 points while Chris Paul had 16 points and 14 assists as the Clippers jumped out to lead by 36-17 after the first quarter and looked to be cruising until the Suns rallied to draw to within four points in the second quarter. The Clippers would regroup and storm home with a massive win to improve to 37-19 on the season which is good enough for fourth place in the Western Conference, just three games behind OKC in third place.
In ATS trends, the Nuggets are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a loss and 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games, while the Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Head to head, the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and the under is 28-11 in the last 39 meetings overall.
The Nuggets have been in poor form and played just last night, so I'm taking the well-rested Clippers to take advantage and win this one by double digits at home.
