The Phoenix Suns play host to the Brooklyn Nets tonight at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The Nets have won three of their last seven games but are in danger of losing a third straight after losing at Portland by 112-104 on Tuesday. Brook Lopez had a monster game of 36 points on 16 of 24 shooting, Joe Johnson added 19 points while Donald Sloan had 14, but no other Nets player finished in double figures which really hurt the Nets as they went ice-cold in the last 2:15 of the game, allowing the Blazers to steal the win with a 11-3 run. With the loss, Brooklyn falls to 15-42 on the season which has them at second last in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Suns haven't exactly been setting the league on fire themselves as they've lost 25 of their last 27 games including their last 12 straight. Archie Goodwin scored 20 points off the bench while Alex Len added 14 points, but this game was over before it really began as the Suns fell behind by 36-17 after the first quarter and went on to lose by 124-84 for their biggest loss of the season. Tyson Chandler sat out the game with a shoulder contusion but is expected to suit up tonight against the Nets.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five against a team with a losing record, while the Suns are 9-20 ATS in their last 29 games overall and 6-21 ATS in their last 27 games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the Nets are 4-10-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings in Phoenix but the home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.
The Nets haven't exactly been in form lately, but they've been pretty competetive over the last seven games and almost pulled off a win over the red-hot Blazers in their last outing, so while I'm staying away from this game, I'd lean towards the Nets if I had to make a play in this one.
