The Memphis Grizzlies invade the Pepsi Center to take on the Denver Nuggets tonight.
The Grizzlies have won four of their last six games but will be looking to bounce back after losing to the Suns by 111-106 in an upset on Saturday. Zach Randolph and Mike Conley led the team in scoring with 19 points each while Matt Barnes added 16, but the Grizzlies were playing on the second night of a back-to-back set and it showed early in the game. PJ Hairston was great on Friday as he scored 21 points against the Lakers but he had just four points and was a non factor in against one of the worst teams in the league. With the loss, Memphis falls to 34-24 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets have lost four of their last five games and will still be licking their wounds after letting a double digit lead disappear in a 122-116 overtime loss at Dallas on Friday. Will Barton led the team in scoring with 22 points off the bench, Kenneth Faried and DJ Augustin chipped in with 20 points each while Gary Harris had 17, but it still wasn't enough to beat the Mavericks who rallied late and pulled off one of their best wins of the season. Denver is now 23-36 on the season which puts them at 13th place in the Western Conference standings.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games following a loss and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall, while the Nuggets are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Denver.
The Grizzlies have been in surprisingly good form lately despite losing their best player in Marc Gasol for the season, but I just have a feeling they might struggle tonight against the lottery-bound Nuggets who have been playing better than their record suggests. I'd personally stay away from this game, but if I had to choose, I'd lean towards the Nuggets with the points at home in a minor upset.
