The Utah Jazz invade the TD Garden to battle the Boston Celtics tonight.
The Jazz have lost five of their last seven games and are in danger of losing a third straight after losing to the lowly Nets by 98-96 on Saturday. Gordon Hayward had a big game of 27 points and six assists, Rodney Hood added 15 poitns while Rudy Gobert had 12 points, 19 rebounds and six blocks but it still wasn't enough to beat the Nets who were just too good defensively for the first three quarters, leaving the Jazz too much ground to make up in the fourth quarter. With the loss, Utah fell to 28-30 overall which drops them to ninth place in the Western Conference standings, just half a game out of the eighth spot.

Meanwhile, the Celtics have won 13 of their last 17 games and have now won their last 10 games at home after beating the Heat by 101-89 on Saturday. Marcus Smart led the scoring with 15 points off the bench, Evan Turner and Jae Crowder added 14 points each while three more players finished in double figures as the Celtics battled witht he Heat for three and a half quarters before closing the game on a 19-7 run in the final 6:43 of the game to improve to 35-25 on the season.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall, while the Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games but just 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the Jazz are 2-6-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and 0-4-2 ATS in the last six meetings in Boston.
This should be a close contest for most of the game, but I'm fully expecting the red-hot Celtics to pull away in the second half and come out with their 11th straight win at home against a Jazz team that's been in a bit of a slump lately.
