The Phoenix Suns invade the AmericanAirlines Arena to take on the Miami Heat tonight.
The Suns will be looking to avoid another massive loss after getting trounced at Charlotte in a 126-92 loss on Tuesday. Alex Len scored 18 points with 12 rebounds, Mirza Teletovic added 17 points while Devon Booker had 13, but this game was over early as the Suns fell behind by 68-42 at halftime and never looked threatening at all. Phoenix has now lost 14 of their last 15 to fall to 15-45 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Heat have won five of their last seven games and will be going for a third straight win after making light work of the Bulls in a 129-111 win on Tuesday. Hassan Whiteside led the way with 26 points, Joe Johnson added 24 points while Luol Deng had 20 as the Heat shot a franchise-record 67.5 percent from the field to cruise past the shorthanded Bulls. With the win, Miami improves to 34-26 on the season which puts them in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, just two games behind Boston in third place.
In ATS trends, the Suns are 15-33 ATS in their last 48 games overall and 5-21 ATS in their last 26 road games, while the Heat are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last four home games.
Head to head, the Suns are 6-21 ATS in the last 27 meetings and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Miami.
I was looking to take the Suns with the points, but just about every statistic is pointing towards a big win for the Heat who are coming off their best shooting game in franchise history.
