The Utah Jazz invade the FedExForum to take on the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.
The Jazz have lost seven of their last nine games and are in danger of losing their fifth straight after falling at Toronto by 104-94 on Wednesday. Gordon Hayward had a nice game of 26 points and six assists, Derrick Favors added 15 points while Trey Burke had 11 points off the bench, but defensively, the Jazz simply had no answer for the Raptors' backcourt of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan who combined for 63 points. With the loss, Utah falls to 28-32 on the season which means they're currently sitting just outside the playoff picture at ninth place in the Western Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have won six of their last eight games and will be going for a third straight win after beating the Kings by 104-98 on Wednesday. Mike Conley led the way with 24 points and five assists, Zach Randolph added 19 points while JaMychal Green and Mario Chalmers had 15 points each as the Grizzlies dominated the first half by 59-43 before holding off a late rally from the Kings in the second half. With the win, Memphis improves to 36-24 on the season which is currently good enough for fifth place in the Western Conference standings.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 0-5 ATS in their last five road games and 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 14-4 ATS in their last 18 home games.
Head to head, the Jazz are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall and 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Memphis.
The Jazz need to start stringing some wins together if they intend to feature in the playoffs this season, but they've been in such poor form lately that I can't back them tonight, despite their strong record against the Grizzlies in recent seasons. Memphis are simply in a groove and should be too good at home.
