The Houston Rockets and the Chicago Bulls do battle tonight at the United Center.
The Rockets have been pretty poor lately with six losses in their last nine games, but they'll be looking to get on a roll now after Wednesday's 100-95 win over the Pelicans. James Harden dominated the game with 39 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and four steals while Dwight Howard added 16 points and nine rebounds as the Rockets fought back from a 90-84 deficit with 3:32 left on the clock to beat the Pelicans and retain sole possession of the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings with a record of 30-31 overall.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have lost nine of their last 12 games and will be looking to snap a four-game skid after getting blown out by double digits for the third time in four games. Derrick Rose led the way with 16 points, all in the first half, while Pau Gasol had just 2 points as the Bulls got flattened by the Magic in a 102-89 defeat on Wednesday. Taj Gibson missed his first game of the season while Jimmy Butler sat out his 11th straight game, but the news is that he is expected to return toniget against the Rockets and will not be under any minutes restrictions which is great news for a Bulls team looking to climb back into the playoff picture.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win and 6-16 ATS in their last 22 games against the Eastern Conference, while the Bulls are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a loss and 0-4A TS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the Rockets are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings overall but the home team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.
Both teams come into this game with little form to speak of, but there is so much to play for with the playoffs just around the corner so expect a good contest. The Rockets looked good in their last outing thanks to a massive night from Harden but while the Bulls have been in terrible form, they simply need this win too badly and might just be able to pull off the minor upset with Butler returning to the court.
