The Indiana Pacers invade the Verizon Center to take on the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Wizards have been in pretty good form lately, but they will be looking to bounce back after having their four-game win streak snapped last night by the Cavaliers in a 108-83 loss. John Wall had a nice game of 17 points, eight rebounds and seven assists but that's where the highlights end as the Wizards found themselves down by 59-42 by halftime, leaving them too much ground to make up in the second half. As a team, the Wizards shot just 39 percent from the field and three of 20 from the 3-point line and on defense they just had no answer for the Cavs' Kyrie Irving and LeBron James. With the loss, Washington falls back below .500 with a record of 30-31 which leaves them in 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Pacers have lost four of their last five games and were beaten by 108-101 at Charlotte last night. Paul George led the way with 35 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals while Monta Ellis added 15 points, but the Pacers just couldn't keep a lid on the Hornets' duo of Kemba Walker and Nicolas Batum who scorched them for 33 and 31 points respectively. WIth the loss, Indiana falls to 32-30 on the season which puts them in seventh place, just half a game ahead of Detroit who occupy the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference.
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games playing on zero days rest, while the Wizards are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall.
Head to head, the Pacers are 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings in Washington and the road team is an astounding 17-4 ATS in the last 21 meetings overall.
The Pacers have struggled through a tough stretch in their schedule but they're more than capable of pulling off the minor upset tonight, especially looking at the ATS trends, but I'm backing the WIzards to come out firing after getting embarrassed last night by the Cavs.
