NBA Player Updates 3/10: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More

The NBA is taking it easy tonight with just four games on the schedule. That comes before we get a whopping 20 matchups tomorrow and Saturday. In the meantime, let’s check out our daily look at the headline stats and key players out there.
Pelicans-Hornets: Last night in Charlotte, the Hornets won their fifth straight game with a 122-113 victory over the Pelicans.
Kemba Walker logged 35 points here, which was his fourth straight game with at least 30. He’s scored at least 20 in 12 of his last 13 appearances. During that time, the team is 11-2.
On the other side, Anthony Davis put up 40 points and 13 rebounds while Jrue Holiday had 38 points for a season-high.

Rockets-Sixers: The Rockets were able to get a road win last night in Philly, taking a 118-104 victory over the Sixers.
James Harden put up 29 points; Dwight Howard backed him up with 21 points and 18 rebounds for another double-double. Patrick Beverly had 16 points, all of them coming in the first half.
As for the Sixers, they’ve lost 13 in a row and stand at just 8-56 on the year.
Knicks-Suns: Any time the Knicks win a game these days, it’s front-page news. That was the case last night in Phoenix, when they eased past the Suns 128-97.
Sasha Vujacic posted a season-high 23 with 6-of-7 made from 3-point range. The Knicks hit 16 3-pointers overall, which is a season-high for the team. Carmelo Anthony also had a nice 23-point total here, while Derrick Williams had 18 points. Jose Calderon had 10 points and 12 assists.
Warriors-Jazz: Stephen Curry’s half-court buzzer-beaters are becoming commonplace this year. He banked in one from 55 feet at halftime against the Jazz last night in Oakland, helping his team on the way to a 115-94 win.
Curry would finish with 12 points and 10 assists, while Klay Thompson had 23. Draymond Green had a busy night with 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
