The Minnesota Timberwolves travel to the FedExForum to battle the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
The Timberwolves have lost six of their last eight games and are coming off a 107-104 loss at Phoenix. Zach LaVine was in a flow all game and led the team with 28 points, Andrew Wiggins added 22 points while Ricky Rubio chipped in with 13 points and 17 assists, but with the game tied at 104-104, it was the Suns' Mirza Teletovic who nailed the game-winning three with just 1.2 seconds left to snatch victory from the Wolves. With the loss, Minnesota falls to 21-46 on the season which keeps them right near the bottom of the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have been really impressive lately as they've been piling on the wins despite missing key players, but the absence of Mike Conley, Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph proved too much as the Grizzlies fell to the Rockets by a whopping 130-81 on Monday night. Jarell Martin enjoyed extended minutes and came up with 17 points off the bench while Matt Barnes added 14 points, but the Grizzlies were simply outmatched and were unable to keep up with the Rockets who led by double digits early on and never relented. With the loss, Memphis falls to 39-28 which is still good enough for fifth place in the Western Conference.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record and 16-7 ATS in their last 23 road games against a team with a winning home record, while the Grizzlies are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a loss and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 home games.
Head to head, the Wolves are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and 3-9 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Memphis.
The Grizzlies fell flat on their faces in their last outing but while they're still very shorthanded, I think they'll be good enough to beat the Timberwolves at home.
