The Washington Wizards travel to the Philips Arena to battle the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
The Wizards are currently sitting just outside of the playoff picture, but four straight wins has them back in the hunt following Saturday's 99-89 win over the Knicks. In a balanced scoring effort, all five starters finished in double figures but it was John Wall leading from the front with 24 points and 10 assists. Markieff Morris added 17 points while Otto Porter Jr. and Marcin Gortat added 15 points each as the Wizards rallied back from an 18-point deficit in the second quarter to beat the Knicks and improve to 34-35 on the season, leaving them just 1.5 games out of the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have won eight of their last nine games and they'll be aiming for a sixth straight win after cruising past the Rockets in a 109-97 win on Saturday. Al Horford led the charge with 22 points and nine rebounds, Tim Hardaway Jr. added 20 points in just 20 minutes off the bench while Paul Millsap had 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as the Hawks blew an early 14-point lead but regrouped in the second half to win by double digits for the fourth time in five games. With the win, Atlanta improved to 41-29 on the season which is good for third place in the Eastern Conference, with just a half-game lead over fourth-placed Miami.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record and 0-5 ATS in their last five road games, while the Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Wizards are 3-8-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings overall and the over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings in Atlanta.
The Wizards have been playing some decent basketball lately and they need this win to stay in the playoff hunt, but I'm sticking with the consistent Hawks who have been one of the hottest teams in the league lately.
