The Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Madison Square Garden to battle the New York Knicks on Saturday.
The Cavaliers have been one of the hottest teams in the league lately, but their charge towards the playoffs hit a bit of a speed bump on Thursday when they lost to the Nets by 104-95. LeBron James led from the front with 30 points on 13 of 16 shooting to go with six rebounds and five assists, while Kevin Love added 11 points and 12 rebounds, but no other Cavs player provided much support, especially Kyrie Irving who shot just six of 22 for his 13 points. Despite the team's shooting struggles, the Cavs were right in the game until late in the fourth quarter where the Nets closed the game with a 14-0 run to finish with the upset. With the loss, Cleveland drops to 51-21 on the season which reduces their lead over Toronto to just two games.

Meanwhile, the Knicks had lost three straight games before completing a sweep of the Bulls in a home-and-home set which was capped with a 106-94 win on Thursday. Carmelo Anthony led from the front with 26 points on nine of 17 shooting while Kristaps Porzingis added a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Knicks took advantage of a disjointed Bulls team. Despite the win, New York are still only 30-43 on the season which means they'll be right in the thick of the upcoming NBA lottery in the offseason.
In ATS trends, the Cavs are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, while the Knicks are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games.
Head to head, the Cavs are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and the road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings.
The Cavs are clearly the team in better form here, but they looked a little shaky in their last outing and could have trouble against the Knicks who have looked pretty good in their last two wins. Take New York with the points in what could be a close one.
