The Denver Nuggets travel to Staples Center to battle the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
The Nuggets have won three of their last four games and will be aiming for a third straight win after taking down the Lakers by 116-105 on Friday. DJ Augustin led the scoring with 20 points off the bench, Jusuf Nurkic added 18 points while Will Barton had 16 as the Nuggets took control of the game with a dominant 34-15 second quarter to set up an easy win for the Nuggets. Despite having little to play for, the Nuggets have now won eight of their last 13 games to improve to 31-42 overall which is good for 10th place in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Clippers have lost five of their last seven games but will be buoyed by their thrilling 96-94 win over the Trailblazers on Thursday. Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford carried the offense with 25 points apiece while DeAndre Jordan had a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds, but with the game tied at 94-94 and just 1.1 seconds left on the clock, the Clippers draw a play for JJ Redick who nails the buzzer beater to win the game. With the win, Los Angeles improves to 44-27 on the season, good enough for fourth place in the Western Conference.
In ATS trends, the Nuggets are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a win and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against a team above .600, while the Clippers are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings and the under is 41-20 in the last 61 meetings.
The Nuggets have really sprung to life lately but the Clippers are always tough to beat at home, esecially with CP3 in the type of form he's been in.
