The Dallas Mavericks and the Sacramento Kings do battle at the Sleep Train Arena on Sunday.
The Mavericks have lost nine of their last 11 games and are in danger of losing a third straight game after falling at Golden State by 128-120 on Friday. Wesley Matthews led the way with 26 points, JJ Barea had 21 points while Raymond Felton had 17 as the Mavs battled hard to stay with the Warriors after falling behind by 72-58 at halftime. The Mavs' sudden slump in form has them falling down the standings fast and with their record of 35-37, they sit in eighth place with an identical record to the Jazz who sit in ninth place.

Meanwhile, the Kings have lost nine of their last 12 games but looked full of life in Friday's 116-94 rout of the Suns. DeMarcus Cousins led the charge with 29 points on nine of 18 shooting, Willie Cauley-Stein added 26 points off the bench while Rudy Gay had 15 points as the Kings made light work of the shorthanded Suns in a blowout. It was always going to be an easy win with Brandon Knight pulling out late for the already shorthanded Suns, but it was encouraging to see the Kings put up a good performance as they head towards the offseason.
In ATS trends, the Mavs are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Kings are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games.
Head to head, the Mavs are 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Sacramento.
The Kings looked really good in their last outing but I'm taking the Mavs who will really be desperate for a win to stay in the playoff picture.
