The Miami Heat invade the Staples Center to battle the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
The Heat have won four of their last five games and they'll be aiming for a third straight win after beating the Nets by 110-99 on Monday. Dwyane Wade led the charge with 30 points on 14 of 19 shooting while Hassan Whiteside added 27 points off the bench as the Heat pulled away late against the Nets to improve to 43-30 on the season which is currently good for fourth place in a very congested Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Lakers have lost eight of their last nine games and will be eager to bounce back after losing by 48 points to the Jazz, matching the Lakers' largest defeat in franchise history. Louis Williams led the scoring with 16 points while Jordan Clarkson had 12, but no other Lakers player finished in double figures as they were left shellshocked in Kobe Bryant's last ever game at Salt Lake City. With the loss, Los Angeles drops to 15-59 on the season which has them in dead last in the Western Conference.
In ATS trends, the Heat are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a win of more than 10 points, while the Lakers are 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Heat are 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings overall and 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Los Angeles.
The Lakers will be eager to atone for their embarrassing loss to the Jazz but they are matched up against an in-form Heat team led by Wade who will want to put on a show in his last ever game against Kobe. Take Miami to pull away late and win by double digits.
