The New Orleans Pelicans travel to the AT&T Center to battle the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
The Pelicans have lost eight of their last 11 games but they'll be feeling good after beating the Knicks by 99-91 on Monday. Jrue Holiday led the way with 22 points, six rebounds and six assists, Toney Douglas had 16 points while Luke Babbitt had 14 points as the Pelicans dominated the second half by 50-37 to come away with the victory. With the win, New Orleans improves to 27-46 on the season which is only good for 12th place in the Western Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Spurs will just be looking to cruise their way to the playoffs as they did in Monday's 101-87 over the Grizzlies. Coach Popovich decided to rest a few key players so the offense ran through LaMarcus Aldridge and he dominated with 31 points, 13 rebounds and three assists while Patty Mills added 17 points as the Spurs made light work of the playoff-bound Grizzlies. With the win, San Antonio remain in second place with no chance of moving up or down in the rankings, so expect to see more key players rested each night from here on out.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team above .600 and 0-5 ATS in their last five games following a win, while the Spurs are 29-13 ATS in their last 42 games against a team with a losing record and 2-9 ATSin their last 11 games following a win.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and 6-13 ATS in the last 19 meetings in San Antonio.
There is no reason why the Spurs shouldn't cruise to an easy win tonight, but I just can't feel too confident about laying that many points with the Spurs likely to rest some starters.
