The Phoenix Suns travel to the Toyota Center to take on the Houston Rockets on Thursday night.
The Suns will be eager to snap a seven-game losing streak on Thursday against falling to the Hawks by 103-90 on Tuesday. Devin Booker led the way with 34 points on 12 of 25 shooting, Ronnie Price added 14 points while Mirza Teletovic had 12 points as the Suns started well to lead by 56-44 going into halftime, before they were blown off the court by the Hawks in the second half. With the loss, Phoenix falls to 20-58 on the season and 7-32 on the road, which currently has them in second last place in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Rockets have been in decent form lately with wins over the Raptors, Cavaliers and the Thunder being their latest marquee victories. James Harden has been leading from the front with averages of 31.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 9.2 assists in his last five games, Patrick Beverley has been averaging 13. points and 4.6 assists while Michael Beasley is averaging 14.6 points in his last five games as the Rockets look to sneak their way into the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. Houston is currently in ninth place with an overall record of 38-39 on the season.
In ATS trends, the Suns are 7-20 ATS in their last 27 road games and 9-26 ATS in their last 35 games against a team with a losing record, while the Rockets are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days rest.
Head to head, the Suns are just 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall but a healthy 21-7 ATS in the last 28 meetings in Houston.
The Suns can match it with the best teams in the league on some nights, but most nights they tend to slip in and out games and allow the better teams to take control and that's what I think will happen again tonight. Take the Rockets to pull away late at home and come out with a much-needed victory.
