The Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics do battle at the TD Garden in Game 3 tonight.
The Hawks almost let a win slip in Game 1, but they made no such mistake in Game 2 as they blew out the Celtics by 89-72. Al Horford led and Kyle Korver led the team with 17 points each, Jeff Teague added 13 points with six assists while Thabo Sefolosha had 12 points as the Hawks absolutely dominated the first quarter by 24-7 to set up the easy win and 2-0 series lead. The only real blemish in the win was Paul Millsap's offensive play as he shot finished with just four points on one of 12 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Celtics will be really worried about their tendency to go ice-cold on offense against the defense of the Hawks. Isaiah Thomas led the team in scoring with 16 points but he shot just four of 16 from the field while Marcus Smart filled in for the injured Avery Bradley and connected on just one of 11 shot attempts to finish with three points. Evan Turner enjoyed extra playing time and finished with 12 points, five rebounds and three assists but there's no doubt that the Celtics were missing their backcourt combination of Thomas with Bradley on offense, but the bad news is that Bradley is expected to miss the remainder of the series with a hamstring injury.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a win of more than 10 points and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, while the Celtics are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven Conference Quarterfinals games.
Head to head, the Hawks are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and the home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.
The Celtics are in desperation mode now and will come out guns blazing at home in front of that raucus crowd. Yes, the loss of Bradley really hurts the Celtics but I think they can get it together and rally for one game.
