The NBA Playoffs continue to chug along; we’ve got three more matchups to look forward to this evening. In the meantime, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations in our daily wrap-up.
Raptors-Pacers: In what’s been a great series so far, things keep going back and forth for Indy and Toronto. The Raptors got the victory last night at home to take the series lead 3-2, thanks to a huge comeback.
Toronto was down 13 points in the fourth quarter, but team star DeMar DeRozan rose to the occasion and posted 34 points for a 102-99 victory. Kyle Lowry gave 14 points to help out as well, while Bismack Biyombo logged 10 points and 16 rebounds.
On the other side, Paul George put up a monster 39-point effort in the loss, while George Hill logged 15 points.
The Pacers were up by as many as 17, but came undone in the fourth quarter. Indiana shot 13-of-29 from 3-point range and nearly had a tying three at the buzzer, but it was ruled too late.

Hawks-Celtics: Here’s another series that’s been a back-and-forth battle. Atlanta got last night’s win at home 110-83 to take the 3-2 series lead over the Celtics.
The Hawks started this game out very slowly, logging just 19 points as of midway through the second quarter. Then things turned around big-time.
Atlanta posted a whopping 70 points from midway through the second to the end of the third, and Boston had no answer for the offensive outburst. The Hawks made just six of their first 34 shots overall. The Celtics weren’t able to capitalize on that sketchy run, and could only build a 10-point lead.
Game 6 is tomorrow night in Boston; if a Game 7 is needed, it would come on Saturday back down in Atlanta.
