The Portland Trailblazers play host to the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 at the Moda Center on Saturday.
The Warriors really took control of the series with an inspiring 110-99 win over the Trailblazers in Game 2 on Tuesday. Klay Thompson poured in 27 points, Draymond Green added 17 points while Andre Igoudala had 15 points as the Warriors fought back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to blow away the Blazers and improve their series lead to 2-0. Stephen Curry was again missing for the Warriors but while he was originally considered a chance to make it for Game 3, coach Steve Kerr has said that he doesn't expect him to be ready for Saturday.

As for the Trailblazers, Damian Lillard poured in 25 points with six assists, CJ McCollum added 22 points while Al-Farouq Aminu had 14 points but it was never going to be enough as the Blazers fell to pieces in the fourth quarter where they were outscored by an amazing 34-12. For the first three quarters of the game, the Blazers played with a real sense of urgency and they were really having a lot of success moving the ball around and making the open shot, but like many other teams in the league this season, they just couldn't handle the Warriors at the Oracle Arena in the fourth quarter.
In ATS trends, the Warriors are 5-0 ATS in their last five Conference Semifinals games and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall, while the Blazers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
Head to head, the Warriors are 20-6 ATS in the last 26 meetings overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Portland.
The Blazers absolutely need to win this game if they're any chance of making any noise in this series, but after what I saw in Game 2, I just don't see it happening. The Blazers will make a real run of it and maybe even lead for most of the game, but the Warriors will find that extra gear when it matters and escape with the win and a commanding 3-0 series lead.
