The Philadelphia 76ers and Memphis Grizzlies meet Tuesday night in NBA preseason action at the FedExForum.
The Philadelphia 76ers are 1-2 in preseason action but have lost their two games by a combined nine points. The 76ers are coming off a three-point loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in which they shot 37.1 percent from the field and made 10 of 35 threes. Joel Embiid is coming off his best game in which he had 12 points and four rebounds in 13 minutes while T.J. McConnell has produced 30 points and 14 assists in three games. Jahlil Okafor has yet to play in the preseason due to a knee injury and Sergio Rodriguez has dished out 19 assists. The Philadelphia 76ers are a great preseason team simply due to their youth and the wide open competition for playing time. While other teams are playing just to knockoff the rust, the 76ers have players fighting for roster spots and minutes.

The Memphis Grizzlies are 1-1 in the preseason with a win over the Orlando Magic and loss to the Atlanta Hawks. In their loss to Hawks, the Grizzlies shot just 36.6 percent from the field and made four of 24 threes. D.J. Stephens has looked sharp with 21 points and 13 rebounds while Zach Randolph is coming off a game in which he had 10 points and two rebounds in 15 minutes. Vince Carter has played 26 minutes and Wade Baldwin IV has 22 points and eight assists. The Memphis Grizzlies need to find some offensive production if this season is going to be different than others. The one thing that’s held the Grizzlies back is a lack of outside shooting and consistent playmakers outside of Mike Conley and Marc Gasol.
The 76ers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS win and the over is 4-0 in 76ers last 4 overall. The under is 5-1-1 in Grizzlies last 7 games following a ATS loss. The 76ers are 4-10-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings.
The 76ers have been the one team I've been watching closely in the preseason because of all the playing time open. It creates a bette rproduct and results in victories while other teams are playing just to knock off the rust. I've backed the 76ers and the spread and it's paid off in the first few games. Give me Philly and the points again.
