The Minnesota Lynx hope to win their fourth WNBA championship, all of which have come since the 2011 season. The Minnesota Lynx are averaging 86 points on 47.5 percent shooting and allowing 77.4 points on 42.3 percent shooting. Maya Moore is averaging 22.3 points and 7.4 rebounds while Lindsay Whalen is averaging 13.6 points and 3.7 assists. Sylvia Fowles is the third double-digit scorer and Seimone Augustus is dishing 3.4 assists. The Minnesota Lynx are shooting 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 81 percent from the free throw line. The Lynx are allowing 31.9 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.6 rebounds per game. The Minnesota Lynx have won 13 of their last 14 home games.
The Los Angeles Sparks had their chance to win the title at home and blew it. It's hard seeing the Lynx lose the title at home where Minnesota has won 13 of its last 14 games and has covered much of those games as well. The bottom line is the Lynx are loaded with experienced players who have been in this situation before many times. We saw in game four just how dialed in Moore can be when the pressure is on, and she's tough to bet against in those situations.
The Sparks are likely in over their heads here, as stealing another game in Minnesota with the title on the line will be nearly impossible.
