The Oklahoma City Thunder play host to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
With three losses in the first four outings of the season, the Timberwolves will be eager to get a win and some momentum after losing to the Nuggets by 102-99 on Thursday. Karl-Anthony Towns had a huge game of 32 points with 14 rebounds and two blocks, Andrew Wiggins added 25 points while Zach LaVine and Namanja Bjelica chipped in with 14 points each, but it still wasn't enough to get past the Nuggets who dominated the third quarter by 33-14 to build a 13-point lead which proved to be just too much for the Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, the Thunder will be eager to atone for their 122-96 loss at Golden State which snapped a four-game win streak to start the season. Victor Oladipo led the Thunder with 21 points while Russell Westbrook added 20 points with 10 assists, but he really couldn't find his shooting touch as he connected on just four of 15 shots from the field while committing six turnovers. Defensively, the Thunder just had no answer for former teammate Kevin Durant who dominated the game with seven 3-pointers on his way to 39 points. To be fair, the Thunder were playing on the road against the stacked Warriors on zero days rest, so fatigue may have been a factor.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games against a team with a winning record and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games against a team above .600, while the Thunder are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a loss of more than 10 points and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games at home.
Head to head, the under is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings and 3-0-1 in the last four meetings in Oklahoma City.
The Thunder were on a roll before getting blown out by the Warriors in their last outing, so I'm banking on them to atone for their first loss of the season with a solid win at home where they have yet to lose this season.
