The Oklahoma City Thunder play host to the Miami Heat at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Monday night.
The Heat are in need of a win as they are coming off a 96-87 loss at Toronto to fall to 2-3 on the season. Hassan Whiteside led the team with 21 points, 16 rebounds and three assists, Goran Dragic added 17 points with five assists while Tyler Johnson chipped in with 16 points off the bench but it just wasn't enough to keep up with the Raptors' DeMar DeRozan who poured in a game-high 34 points on 14 of 26 shooting. With the loss, Miami falls to 2-3 on the season and 1-1 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Thunder bounced back from their blowout loss at Golden State with a 112-92 win over the Timberwolves on Saturday. Russell Westbrook led the team with 28 points and eight assists, Enes Kanter added 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench while Steven Adams chipped in with 14 points as the Thunder broke away from the Timberwolves with a 31-19 third quarter to setup the victory. With the win, Oklahoma City improves to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 at home.
In ATS trends, the Heat are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five against a team with a winning record, while the Thunder are 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points.
Head to head, the under is 5-0 in the last five meetings overall and 3-1-1 in the last five meetings in Oklahoma City.
Whiteside is starting to turn it on for the Heat, but they still haven't quite hit their stride yet which makes it a little tough for me to pick them against the in-form Thunder at home. I'm sticking with OKC to pull away late and win this one at home.
