The Cleveland Cavaliers hope to keep the ball rolling as they build on their solid 7-1 start. The Cleveland Cavaliers are averaging 110.6 points on 43.8 percent shooting and allowing 103.1 points on 44.6 percent shooting. Kyrie Irving is averaging 24.5 points and 4.3 assists while LeBron James is averaging 23.4 points and nine rebounds. Kevin Love is the third double-digit scorer and J.R. Smith is grabbing 2.5 rebounds. The Cleveland Cavaliers are shooting 37.1 percent from beyond the arc and 78.8 percent from the free throw line. The Cleveland Cavaliers are allowing 33.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 44.2 rebounds per game. The Cleveland Cavaliers have won seven of their last nine home games.

The Hornets are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. The Cavaliers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest. The Hornets are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Cleveland and 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings overall.

I've been backing the Hornets quite a bit this season, as Charlotte is a really good under the radar team. However, I don't like the Hornets in this spot. The Cavs are flexing their muscle early and have all of their guys putting up numbers on the offensive end. The Hornets are going to have a hard time keeping up in this spot on the road. I have to side with the Cavaliers and the reasonable chalk.
