The Detroit Pistons invade the Quicken Loans Arena to battle the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.
The Pistons have lost four of their last six and will be looking to bounce back after falling to the Knicks by 105-102 on Wednesday. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the team with 21 points, Tobias Harris added 19 points with 10 rebounds, Jon Leuer added 17 points while Andre Drummond chipped in with 15 points but it wasn't enough to get past the Knicks who were led by a career-best 35 points from Kristaps Porzingis. Despite the loss, the Pistons are still a solid 6-6 on the season overall, but just 1-6 on the road so far.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers were aiming for a fourth straight win before falling at Indiana by 103-93 on Wednesday. Kevin Love led the team with 27 points and 16 rebounds while Kyrie Irving chipped in with 24 points and seven assists, but the Cavs shot just 40 percent from the field and committed a total of 18 turnovers which proved too difficult to overcome as the Cavs rested LeBron James. JR Smith was also absent from the game and has now missed his last three games with ankle soreness.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss and 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on one days rest, while the Cavs are 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games overall and 0-5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Pistons are 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Cleveland and the road team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven.
The Cavs are heavily favored in this one and rightly so as James is fully expected to suit up tonight, so while I'm tempted to take the Pistons and the points, I just can't trust them on the road just yet, especially against this Cavs outfit.
