The Oklahoma City Thunder invade the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
The Thunder were aiming for a third straight win on Sunday, but instead fell to the Pacers by 115-111 in overtime. Russell Westbrook led from the front with his fifth triple-double of the season, finishing with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists while Enes Kanter and Victor Oladipo added 16 and 14 points respectively but it still wasn't enough to get past the Pacers who were without their leader in Paul George. The Thunder would have been full of confidence going into overtime after Westbrook drains a 27-foot three pointer with 2 seconds left on the clock, but the Thunder just had no answer for the Pacers' Jeff Teague who scored eight of his 30 points in the overtime period. With the loss, Oklahoma City drops to 8-6 overall and 6-4 at home.

Meanwhile, the Lakers started the season well, but they've cooled off lately with three losses in their last four outings. Lou Williams led the team with 25 points off the bench, Larry Nance Jr. chipped in with 18 points while Nick Young had 15 points in the Lakers' 118-110 home loss to the shorthanded Bulls on Sunday. D'Angelo Russell returned to the court after missing a game but had just eight points with seven assists in 23 minutes as the Lakers look to stay extra cautious with their young guard. With the loss, LA drops back to .500 with an overall record of 7-7 on the season and 4-3 at home.
In ATS trends, the Thunder are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Lakers are 0-3-1 ATS in their last four home games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the Thunder are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings in Los Angeles. The home team is 12-2 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall.
The Lakers have listed Russell as "questionable" for Tuesday's game which would be a major loss for the Lakers considering who the Thunder have at point guard. I know the home team has enjoyed plenty of success in this matchup, but I'm taking the Thunder to avoid a third straight road loss and take this one by single digits.
