Portland Trail Blazers vs. New Orleans Pelicans - 11/25/16 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Portland Trail Blazers could use a feel good victory after losing five of their last six games. The Portland Trail Blazers are averaging 108.9 points on 45.3 percent shooting and allowing 113.4 points on 45.3 percent shooting. Damian Lillard is averaging 28.4 points and 4.9 assists while C.J. McCollum is averaging 21.9 points and four rebounds. Maurice Harkless is the third double-digit scorer and Mason Plumlee is grabbing 6.5 rebounds. The Portland Trail Blazers are shooting 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 80.1 percent from the free throw line. The Portland Trail Blazers are allowing 35 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.5 rebounds per game. The Portland Trail Blazers have won three of their last four home games.

The Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Trail Blazers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Pelicans are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Portland and 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings overall.

The Pelicans look like a playoff team now that Holiday is back on the court and there's more options offensively. It's hard to turn down the points with the team in better form, especially with how poor the Portland Trail Blazers are playing. However,  the Trail Blazers are far better at home and know they need to kind of stop the bleeding if this season is going to be a success. I'm taking the Portland Trail Blazers and the small line here.
