Anthony Davis had a monster night of 40 points with 18 rebounds and three blocks, Tyreke Evans chipped in with 12 points while Buddy Hield had 11 points as the Pelicans dominated the Knicks and led by as many as 25 points before the Knicks' reserves made a late push to narrow the margin. WIth the comprehensive win, New Orleans improves to 15-24 overall and 5-13 on the road where they they have lost four of their last six games.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have lost 12 of their last 13 games and they will be aiming to put a halt to a seven-game skid after getting blown out in a 117-97 loss to the Hawks on Tuesday. Brook Lopez led the team with 20 points, Bojan Bogdanovic added 16 points and Sean Kilpatrick chipped in with 14 points off the bench but it was never going to be enough as the Nets were always running uphill after falling behind by 61-43 going into halftime. Jeremy Lin missed his seventh straight game with a hamstring injury and remains with a clear timetable for his return. Brooklyn is now 8-29 on the season and 7-12 at home.
