Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Lakers
NBA Championship Finals Game Six, Celtics lead series 3-2
June 15, 2010 at 9pm ET on ABC
The Line: Los Angeles Lakers -6.5 Over/Under 190
It's game six and the series is back to LA, it doesn't get much better than this in the NBA. Dan and Mike have wrote up this game with opposing viewpoints, so it seems like a fine time to weigh in, albeit late. Hope a few of you get a chance to read this before tip.
I really think we see Lakers game one form here tonight. Andrew Bynum's knee isn't getting any better, but Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom should have breakout games in the paint. Kobe lives for this scenario and also won't disappoint.
While the Celtics have impressed me a lot thus far, I think this game is difficult on the likes of Glen Davis and Tony Allen, guys who have provided a welcome home spark off the bench. I also think the silent Lakers bench (Shannon Brown, maybe even Luke Walton as a distributor) kick it up tonight in the familiar Staples Center.
Six and a half points seems lofty, but it feels like just enough to make the Celtics a publicly backed dog. Maybe I'm way off and the public can't wait to pound the Lakers no matter what the line, but at any rate I'm on the Lakers tonight.
Game seven here we come..
Also liked over when it opened at 187, I see some people have joined me on that stance since. I think over 94.5 in the first half sounds nice.
