The Sacramento Kings will have to shut out the talks of a move to Seattle if they want beat the New Orleans Hornets tonight.

The Hornets had won six of seven before falling to the Warriors by 116-112 on Saturday despite shooting a scintillating 57 percent from the field as a team. Eric Gordon led the team with 23 points; Anthony Davis had 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Greivis Vasquez piled up 15 assists with his eight points but it all counts for nothing as the Hornets struggled on its final possessions as they were outscored by 31-23 in the fourth. Despite the recent flow of wins, New Orleans are still only 13-27 on the season which puts them right at the bottom of the West with Phoenix.

Meanwhile, the Kings have won three of their last four and are coming off a 97-93 win against the Bobcats on Saturday. DeMarcus Cousins had 17 points and 10 rebounds, Marcus Thornton added 18 points off the bench and Tyreke Evans came up big down the stretch as the Kings bounced back from a miserable 85-69 loss against the Grizzlies the night before. The Kings have done well to bounce back from a four-game losing streak, but to be fair, their wins have come against the Cavs, Wizards and now the Bobcats. Sacramento are now 16-25 on the season and 4-15 on the road.

In ATS trends, the Kings are 4-1 ATS in the last five games following an ATS win and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Hornets are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 home games.

Head to head, the Kings are 14-3 ATS in the last 17 meetings overall and the 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in New Orleans.

Of the two teams, the Hornets are playing a little better at the moment, but it's pretty tough to ignore all the stats in favor of the Kings in this one. The longer I dwell on this one, the more I keep changing my mind so I'm just going to stick with my initial prediction and take the Hornets to win this one at home. Both teams have been winning but the Kings were somewhat lucky to win each of their last three games over league-worst opponents.
