The Phoenix Suns look to get back on track Sunday when the Suns host the Orlando Magic.

The Orlando Magic hope to avoid their third straight loss on Sunday when the Magic head to Phoenix to face off against the Suns.

The Phoenix Suns started off playing decent ball, but lately the wheels have fallen off a bit as the Suns have dropped six straight. Phoenix has an offense that can score with just about anybody, but defensively the Suns have really struggled this season, giving up more than 103 points per game on average. Phoenix has a few offensive advantages over the Magic's defense, and while they are small, when you are on a six game losing streak I expect the Suns to take full advantage of whatever they can. Phoenix is the better shooting of the two teams, and the Suns are also aggressive on the offensive boards. The Suns are averaging 42 points per game in the paint, while the Magic are giving up that exact number this season, so offensively the Suns should be able to have success inside against Orlando.

The Orlando Magic, like the Suns, are also trying to get back into the win column. The Magic have dropped two straight heading into Sunday and are currently 7-12 on the year. Orlando is playing well defensively this season, giving up just over 95 points per outing. It's on the other end of the court where the Magic are struggling as Orlando is ranked 28th in the league offensively, putting up just 91.8 points per game on average. The Magic, like the Suns are a solid team inside and I look for Orlando to try and take full advantage of that on Sunday. If the Magic can win the rebound and turnover battle, and get some key stops in the paint on the Suns the Magic have a good shot of pulling the upset here on Sunday.

The Suns are 6-14-1 against the spread overall this season, and at home the Suns are just 2-7 against the number. The Magic are 9-9-1 against the spread this season, and on the road, Orlando is 6-3-1 against the spread.

I have to take the points with the Magic here. I really like the way Orlando matches up with the Suns overall. Orlando won't blow anyone away offensively, but the Magic won't need to here as the Suns will likely struggle to go on any kind of big time run against this Magic defense. These two teams met in early November in Orlando, with the Magic getting the easy win and cover 115-94. The margin may not be that large this time around, but Orlando looks to be the better team, and getting points is a gift.
