Bank of America Stadium and the Carolina Panthers host the St Louis Rams on Sunday.
St Louis has been cranking it up offensively the past two weeks with consecutive victories over Jacksonville and Houston although the way these teams have been playing I don'tknow whether the Rams are to credit or because thes guys are just awful. I think it was a bit of both in a 38-13 victory over the Texans who seem like they have already packed it in with two more lost fumbles and a pair of interceptions including yet another pick six. The Rams were not great offensively with Zac Stacy rushing for 79 yards to pace the ground attack while Sam Bradford completed 12-16 for 117 yards and three touchdowns. Rather it was the Texans who shot themselves on the foot with mistakes with a lost fumble in the end zone giving St Louis 14 defensive points.

Carolina is one of those teams that are really good or really bad with little in between and figuring out which team we'll see on any given Sunday can be a coin flip. The number three ranked defense in the NFL dominated the Vikings vaunted rushing attack with Adrian Peterson held to 61 yards with 31 coming on one run. The Panthers had limited success running the ball but Cam Newton made up for it with a highly efficient passing attack. Newton completed 20-26 for 242 yards and three touchdowns including a 79 yard scoring toss to Brandon LaFell that gave Carolina a 21-3 lead in a game that was not contested,
The questions here are whether St Louis will score and which Panthers squad will show up. Carolina has the blow out potential but I'm leaning to the points with the home team winning...
