The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers in week ten.
Philadelphia has been all over the map with both sides of the ball enjoying both good times and bad. The key is and always has been getting both to show up on the same day which finally happened in a 49-20 rout of Oakland on the road. The key will be coming close to matching that performance which will be impossible with Nick Foles tying an NFL record with seven touchdown passes. Foles posted a perfect quarterback rating by completing 22-28 for 406 yards with DeSean Jackson (5-150) and Riley Cooper (5-139) the receivers of choice with Jackson scoring once and Cooper three times. Bryce Brown logged 54 yards on seven tries to lead the Eagles on the ground who ran sparingly. The defense that was gouged early in 2013 held the Raiders to 13 points through three quarters before the starters watched most of the final 15 minutes.

Green Bay appeared to be the odds on favorite to win the NFC North and challenge for the Super Bowl. Those plans were put on hold when Aaron Rodgers went down in the first quarter of a 27-20 loss to visiting Chicago on Monday Night Football. Rodgers broke his collarbone and the result was the end of a four game winning streak and a cloudy future. The question now becomes whether the defense can pick up the slack and can Seneca Wallace put points on the scoreboard. Wallace completed 11-19 for 114 yards with no touchdowns and an interception which was an uneven performance although a tough spot for him. The passing attack obviously lacked some punch but the run picked up the slack with Eddie Lacy rambling for 150 yards on 22 totes including a 56 yard scoring jaunt. The defense struggled with 440 yards allowed but couldn't stop the Bears who ate up 9+ minutes on their final drive to boot a field goal and leave the Packers with less then a minute for their last ditch attempt to tie.
As an Eagles fan I see an improving defense and an offense that is potent if it shows up which is always an unknown. In fact everything is an unknown with this team but I don't expect a defensive struggle so I'm looking at the over..
