TV:

Now that the Saints and Seahawks have finished up, we can start looking toward Week 14 in the NFL. There are several key matchups coming our way in the days ahead, and the playoff race is starting to heat up as we cruise toward the end of the season. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at some of the storylines and key players making news right now.

Saints-Seahawks Notes: The weekend’s most anticipated game very quickly turned into a one-sided affair, with the Seattle Seahawks dominating the overmatched and flustered New Orleans Saints. Russell Wilson was the star of the show, tossing for 310 yards and three touchdowns while his defense took care of business on the other side. He’s now 14-0 in his two-year career, and just handed Drew Brees his first loss in ten games on “Monday Night Football.”
With the win, Seattle clinches a playoff berth and has a comfortable two-game lead on their nearest competitors in the NFC--New Orleans and Carolina. Speaking of Carolina, the Saints had better shake this one off quickly because the Panthers are coming to town for what is now a HUGE NFC South matchup on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 14. Cam Newton and company are cooking right now, and would love to get their ninth win in a row against New Orleans and take over the division lead.
