The Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals face off on Sunday in Seattle in a huge game in NFC West.
The Seattle Seahawks are just a win away from clinching the NFC West but they have already clinched a playoff spot in the NFC. The Seahawks have won eight of their last nine games and have the best record in the NFL this season. Russell Wilson has completed 64.7 percent of his passes with 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions and he has rushed for 508 yards. Marshawn Lynch has rushed for 1,089 yards and 11 touchdowns and he has 33 receptions. Golden Tate has 54 receptions and four touchdowns and Doug Baldwin has 49 receptions. Bobby Wagner has 99 tackles and 4 sacks, Earl Thomas has 93 tackles, and K.J. Wright has 80 tackles. The Seahawks average 27.1 points and 354.5 yards per game while defensively they allow 14.6 points and 279.5 yards per game both of which rank number one in the NFL. The Seahawks are thinking home field advantage and Super Bowl at this point.

The Arizona Cardinals are in the hunt for a playoff spot but they need to win and then they need some help. The Cardinals have won six of their last seven games but it has been the losses to the teams in their division, Seattle and San Francisco, which have them fighting for their playoff lives. Carson Palmer has completed 64.5 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. Rashard Mendenhall as rushed for 577 yards and eight touchdowns and Andre Ellington has rushed for 588 yards. Larry Fitzgerald has 73 receptions and 10 touchdowns and Michael Floyd has 58 receptions. Karlos Dansby has 111 tackles, John Abraham has 11.5 sacks, and Daryl Washington has 63 tackles. Arizona averages 24.4 points and 339.5 yards per game while defensively they allow 20.8 points and their opponents average 322.2 yards per game. The Cardinals have made huge strides this season and have a head to head win over Carolina if it comes down to a tiebreaker between those two teams.
Seattle is 4-0 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread, 16-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 20-8 against the spread following a win. Arizona is 4-0 against the spread following a win, 5-0 against the spread in their last five games, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games. The home team has covered the point spread in four of the last five meetings of these two.
This one shapes up to be a defensive battle and my free pick is going to be the under. I also have a pick on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
