TV:

After a fast and furious Sunday of NFL action around the entirety of the league, the 2013 regular season has officially come to an end. We now have our 12 playoff teams who are still alive, and it’ll be a great week to anticipate the upcoming matchups. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at some of the noteworthy happenings out there and see what everyone’s up to. Here’s the latest.

Peyton Manning, QB, Denver Broncos: Manning’s record-setting campaign continued yesterday against the Raiders, as he tied a bow on one of the most awe-inspiring regular seasons in NFL history. In just one half of football, he posted four touchdowns and 266 yards, breaking the single-season yardage record (5,477) and extending his single-season passing touchdowns record (55). Perhaps even more impressive, he did all that while tossing just 10 interceptions.

Rex Back in 2014: Depending on which Jets fan you ask, this could be good or bad news. Word broke yesterday that owner Woody Johnson would be keeping head coach Rex Ryan around for at least one more season (he’s entering the last year of his contract).
The Jets exceeded expectations this year with a mediocre roster--especially on offense--finishing the season 8-8.
New York definitely has some work to do this off-season if they want to recapture the magic of Ryan’s first two seasons and make a play finally unseating the Patriots for the division title, but the continuity in the coaching staff can’t hurt. It will be an interesting off-season for the Jets.

2014 NFL Draft Top 10: Some teams won’t be making the playoffs this season, but can take some solace in the fact that they’ve got a high-level pick in the upcoming draft. Here’s a look at the top 10 picks for the 2014 draft, which will take place May 8-10.
