The Tennessee Titans welcome the Green Bay Packers to LP Field in preseason action Saturday.
Green Bay's success begins with Aaron Rodgers and when the star signal caller struggles or is injured the team is ordinary and last season is proof of how thin the line is between winning and losing. A healthy Rodgers and an improved defense has to be on the wish list of every Packers fan. Rodgers has a variety of well known weapons to turn to in Eddie Lacy and Jordy Nelson but who can he turn to otherwise? We might not know in game one because Scott Tolzien and Chase Rettig might get all the snaps. If I were a Green Bay fan I'd be more interested in the defense which has to improve with the health of Clay Matthews a worry on that side of the ball.

The Titans turn to Ken Whisenhunt to get the team pointed in the right direction after Mike Munchak received the boot. The question here is does he have the pieces on hand to make this team competitive sooner then later as there is room for improvement in most areas. Zack Mettenberger will battle Charlie Whitehurst for the right to backup Locker while Bishop Sankey looks to take over the top spot in the rushing attack but there will be plenty of players getting a chance to shine for a new coach and a roster spot.
Obviously Green Bay has the better team but that doesn't mean a thing in the preseason opener which is generally a mix of fringe players battling for a roster spot with the team hoping to find a diamond in the rough. The key word here is rough...
